I wear my Apple Watch every day. I train, work and live in it. But every band I tried either looked generic, felt unnecessarily bulky and made the watch look cheap.

After cycling through more bands than I can count, I realized that most of these bands were clearly afterthoughts.

I asked myself a simpl question: Why should somethig I wear all day be either purely functional or purely aesthetic... but never both?

• As an engineer, I care about fit, materials, and doing things properly.
• As an athlete, I care about performance, durability, and comfort.

So I set out to create a better band myself.

Concept sketch of Hybrid One Band (January 2025)

What started as sketch, evolved into months of designing, 12 prototypes to find the most soft, yet sturdy FKM material, and refinement of the connetor tolerances.

After months working with manufacturers to finalize the band, I felt like I have created a truly unique product.

The result is the Hybrid One Band. A band that feels better, fits better and looks better.
This is how Hybrid One came to life, and the only band I now wear everyday.
