I wear my Apple Watch every day. I train, work, and live in it. But every band I tried felt generic, poorly made, or cheapened the watch itself.

Connector fit was loose and not properly toleranced, and the band design didn’t match the watch at all.

After cycling through more bands than I can count, I realized the problem wasn’t a lack of options. It was that most of these bands were clearly afterthoughts.

Existing band options for the Apple Watch Ultra

I wanted one band that could move with me everywhere I go.

• As an athlete, I care about performance, durability, and comfort.
• As an engineer, I care about fit, materials, and doing things properly.

So I built the solution myself.

It began with sketches of a band visually aligned with the Apple Watch Ultra, finished with lightweight, waterproof materials. We tested multiple types of FKM until we found one that has a premium soft-touch feeling aginst the skin.

We spent months working with manufacturers, prototyping, refining the design, testing materials, and perfecting the connector fit to create a truly unique product.

The result is the Hybrid One Band. Every detail is intentional, from how it feels on the wrist over long days to its timeless and versatile design.

This is how Hybrid One came to life, and the standard every Arcon product will be built to.
